LIVING TO FULFILMENT
As the saying
goes, “when the use of something is not known, abuse is inevitable. The bible
accounts that everything God created was wonderful (Genesis 1:31). Never forget
that everything has purpose including yourself and I. follow me on this: the
fish does not go for swimming lessons before it can swim; the butter fly does
not attend flying coaching before it can fly; the lion does not go for
tutorials before it can roar, all of these and many more are fulfilling their
God given potentials. Something is constant about life “GROWTH”. As each day
passes on we become older. It is natural for us as Christians to be faced with
various forms of challenges regardless of how big or small – it is an assurance
that we are meant to be great. Let’s consider Joseph in the scriptures, Joseph
at an early stage of his life, saw a revelation about his life of how great he
would be, but, despite the fact that he wasn’t aware of the challenges he was
to face; but he maintained his stand even at the face of great challenges.
Joseph was focused at where he was going, he never allowed any side attractions
and he eventually ruled in the land of Egypt (Genesis chapter 39-41). Note this
“you will only remain a mediocre in your life when you entertain side attractions
on your way to your peace-place of fulfillment”.
From our
passage, it is clear to us that Joseph had the fear of God in him, the bible
says “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” little wonder Joseph had
the ability to interpret dreams which made him stand before king (Proverbs
22:29). The bible says that “God is the alpha and omega”, in essence of this,
He knows a whole lot about us and He only knows where we will end up. So, it is
quiet logical for us to do His will at all times if we really know that we want
to make great exploits in life and live a fulfilled life. It is only
those that can dwell in the secret place of the most high God that can enjoy
His supremacy and have a well-defined pattern for their life. In fact, living a
fulfilled life will make God to be happy with you and He will even make your
enemies to be at peace with you.
My brother and
sister in Christ, there is nothing this life can offer us, all that’s in this
world is temporal and all will vanish away definitely. Living a fulfilled life
demands that you shun the ways of the world viz.: smoking, cheating,
masturbating, fornicating, idolatry, disobedience and all that’s in Galatians
5:19-21. Let’s embrace a righteous and holy life, we can attain perfection if
only we believe and ready to pay the price attached to it. And likewise, we
will definitely fulfill destiny and purpose here on earth. Know this that for
all your sincere righteousness there is rewards. Shalom.
